Saving for College - painlessly!!!

College is pricey right? Honestly I had a hard enough time paying for my own degree and that was before the economy tanked! I really wish this program had existed when I was a child. Have you heard about Upromise?

It is pretty great!!!

Upromise.com - Save Money for College

The way it works is that you sign up by clicking the graphic above. Once you sign up...there are several ways to save money for college on your every day activities without spending anything extra!!!!

1 - Are you familliar with ebates? Or do you remember my review of Blastoff? Well - similar to those programs you can earn cash back by shopping through Upromise - but it's not cash in your pocket it's cash into a college savings account!! You can earn 1% - 25% back from over 600 online retailers.

2- There are over 8000 participating resturaunts you can eat at that give 8% back to your college fund when you pay with a registered credit or debit card!!!

3- Register your credit cards and debit cards, register your grocery store and drug store keytags (There is even one for publix - ask at customer service!!) You get back 1-3% shopping and buying groceries!! There are even e-coupons you can download to your cards that give you back a little bit more but the money goes straight to college. :)

4 - Be sure to invite all of your family & friends so they can help you save for college!!!

Once you are actually into the account you can see lots of the really cool features. You set up one account and can then add a second child or third or fourth or 18th in the case of the Duggars. :)

If you have the only grandchild in a family then potentially you could harness the spending power of both sets of grandparents and any aunts and uncles and really rack up the college cash.

This is really an awesome tool. I hope you will consider signing up today.

Check out the awesome grocery e-coupons that are available to help you save some cash :)
