HT Triples

So i'm going through this craziness of selecting my grocery list for HT Triples. (I love triples!)

FYI KROGER IS TRIPLING in response to HT. So the usual krogers are tripling - HURRAY! (THX to Frugal in Franklin who heard it from Ms. Cheap)

Part of the reason I haven't posted about any good deals I scored recently is because I haven't scored any. Mostly due to the GIGANTIC disaster my coupons have become. I will have to post pictures because you absolutely will not believe it but I DO have valid reasons behind it. Stay tuned for that.

Coming soon:

Around the blogosphere
Make a Difference Monday - the REALLY late edition
Some of my recent shopping experiences...

But for now I leave you with this great deal idea:

Harris Teeter:
1 Welches Squeezable Jelly $2.35 each
1 Gallon of Milk $2.25ish each
-.75 product printable
-.75 on milk WYB any 1 welch's squeezable This coupon was out at some point in August (I will look it up)
= you pay roughly a dime for a gallon of milk and a squeezable jelly.
Great way to get cheap milk

You still can't comment on my blog which means I either have to go back to the old layout which I didn't like or fix my XML code. I think i know what's wrong with it but i'm unsure how to fix it.
If any of YOU are good at XML let me know :) nosunshyne@gmail.com

Kroger: Special on iPhone's 8/20 - 8/23

I received some information yesterday that is pretty exciting for those of us without post paid phone plans! One of the I-wireless phones will be on deeeep discount this weekend at select Kroger's in the Nashville & Louisville area. This weekend ONLY From 8/20 - 8/23 you will be able to pick up a Red LG 150 for $9.99 at certain Krogers. (The phone retails at $39.99)

The Limit is ONE PHONE PER CUSTOMER and your Kroger Plus card MUST be used at the time of purchase.

Something really cool about the iWireless phone plan you may not be aware of is that you can link your Kroger Plus card to your iWireless Phone number and participate in their FREE MINUTES loyalty program. You receive 100 bonus minutes at activation of this program as well as 20 free minutes for every $100.00 you spend at Kroger.

The really exciting thing to me is that the $100.00 you spend? is $100.00 BEFORE Paper coupons come off. The marketing person who contacted me checked with the IT department and let me know that the $100 is after e-coupons (Shortcuts, pgesavers, cellfire etc) are removed but BEFORE Paper coupons are removed!! I believe this works a lot like the gas program where it is cumulative.

They also allow you to carry your minutes from month to month.

Some other features of i Wireless are:
*Night minutes start at 7pm
*FREE incoming text minutes
*Refill and never lose your airtime

*Monthly plans start at $20.00
*NO ACTIVATION FEES!
You can find out more about the iwireless service here.
Is your Kroger participating? Here are the Nashville Kroger Stores who are participating!!

If you have no use for these personally...(don't have a child who you might need to keep up with or something similar...these would be great to donate to the church. Not a whole fleet of them but how cool would it be to be able to help a family out with a free cell phone if they find themselves in a position unable to have a phone?! They could link it to their kroger plus card and I'm fairly sure it would probably even work with EBT Cards. I know the gas program works with EBT Cards.

Kroger tripling coupons in response to HT

Kroger is tripling coupons in response to Harris Teeter. Faithful Provisions has the scoop on that over here. Theorhetically you could get by with tripling 40 coupons a day by going to whoever has the best non-food pricing (or the best dry food pricing) and tripling 20 coupons and then trekking to the other one and tripling coupons on cold things - that would make a nice shopping trip.
