Restaurant.com 80% off with special code

I don't eat out 99% of the time.  We ate at Chik-fil-A today and we ate there for my son's birthday in March and that's been IT for me to dine out since December.  Those are budget busters for me.  ESPECIALLY sit-down restaurants.  I am thinking about splurging a little bit this week.

Do you know about Restaurant.com? I got a reminder email today to let me know that they are running an 80% off deal right now!! There are a few options with them that could help you with Birthday Gifts or Mother's day or just helping to salvage your food budget.

A $25.00 gift certificate normally costs $10.00 without any promo codes. But using the current promo code which is "MEAL" and the links below, you can take 80% off of that!! So that means you get a $25.00 certificate for $2.00!!! These aren't like traditional gift certificates though - please read all of the fine print before you buy!!

Save 80% on Restaurant.com $25 Gift Cert. Use code MEAL and pay $2 thru 4/30/10.

You can also join the dinner of the month club each year for $10.00 a month! Since you are taking 80% off this gift is only $2.00 a month!!

There are 3, 6 and 12 month options:

3 months = $6.00
6 months = $12.00
12 months = $24.00

Here is a sampling of restaurants available in my area:
Joses Gourmet Grill
Nile Ethiopian Restaurant
Lil Pauls Smokehouse
Avanti Gourmet
Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse
Fattoush Cafe

I am thinking about picking one of these up for my mom and my mother-in-law.  This might be a pretty cute gift from the babies and pretty pocketbook friendly!!! My brother has a birthday coming up at the end of May and this just might be his Birthday gift!
I know I would be excited - I might grab one for me and maybe one

Restaurant.com 80% off!!!

I'm really excited to announce that I got an e-mail this morning from CJ letting me know that you can now Save 80% off on every $25 Gift Cert. order. Use code FOUR and Pay $2 thru 10/12/09 only at Restaurant.com.

Just click the link to go through to Restaurant.com and go shopping for some early Christmas Presents.

Me personally? I plan to take advantage of this when I get home. I have some Christmas Gifts I need to grab up. I bet my brother would take COMPLETE advantage of one of these and the good news is - he doesn't read my blog so he'll be completely clueless ;) These would be great for co-workers or your boss or many other people.

Also don't forget you can EMAIL the certificates to people rather than printing them yourself so if you are overseas you can save on international postage charges!! :)

And now? It's off to the pediatrician I go! Kids are sick again!!

Restaurant.com 60% off through tomorrow!!

Hey! I found a pretty sweet deal over at Restaurant.com. Right now you can actually take 60% off of your purchase and pay $4.00 for a $25.00 Gift Certificate. When you use the coupon code ENJOY to get this great price!!! I know that isn't as good as the recent 80% and 90% sales we've seen but if you have a birthday coming up that you forgot about or you want to reduce your friday night date cost this is still a GREAT option :) This is good THROUGH OCTOBER 8th, 2009!

Restaurant.com Cheapness!!!

Okay so I have some fantabulous news for you folks :) Restaurant.com has an 80% off sale going on now. Click through the link and put in your zip code to find a restaurant near you that is participating - these would make fabulous gifts :)

I'm thinking about possibly giving one or two of these at Christmas to a few people - the code ends on September 30th so you ONLY HAVE a very very few days left to use it (Today, tomorrow and the next day!!)

So you can get a $25.00 gift certificate for $2.00 when you use the coupon code CHEF. Mercedes over at commonsensewithmoney is where I got this from - she posted it on facebook BRIGHT and early this morning and I meant to post it sooner but I had mommy type stuff to do :)
From Mercedes post:

Things to remember when ordering these certificates:

*Always make sure to read the fine print of the certificates you are purchasing
as their restrictions vary.
*If you have any questions regarding the fine print on the certificates your best bet is to call the particular restaurant you are interested in purchasing from and getting clarification from them directly.
*Make sure to check the expiration date and exceptions the certificate may
have

GREAT Dining out deals (Nashville half off)

SO my good friend Ginger (Who i bet half of you know LOL) e-mailed me today while I was out at the doctor with the babies getting shots to tell me about this really HOT new site that she found.

The name of it is Nashville Great Deals and you can get there by clicking here. They have all sorts of deals for you there such as:

B.B. King's Blues Club & Restaurant
British Custom Tailors - Franklin, TN
Celebrity Limousine Inc. (Nashville)
Clearing Manor Bed & Breakfast
Cumberland Caverns (McMinnville, TN)
Cyn's Home Cooked Meals (Nashville)
Dinosaur World (Cave City, KY)
Drakes Creek Activity Center (Hendersonville)
Fairytales Bookstore and More (Nashville)
Fox's Donut Den (Green Hills)
GolfTec
Gone To The Dogs Daycare
Incredible Fat Wrap
Italian Market & Eatery
Kentucky Down Under

The whole reason she was emailing me was because they had Fulin's certificates (a $50.00 certificate for $25.00 - woo hoo!!) but they are sold out now.

Unlike restaurant.com which has strict limitations these don't appear to be as strict. (restaurant.com is 25.00 off of a 35.00 purchase - they add a 20% gratuity based on your pre-coupon amount so assuming 35.00 of food you will pay 17.00 plus whatever you paid for your certificate...this site is just $25.00 off of any purchase can be used for alcohol or food or whatever)

Looks like they have a $50.00 maggie moos certificate coming on october 9th ...you can't get cash back and must use the entire thing in one wallop so maybe if you plan to have a birthday party there? or get an ice cream cake or something :)

Seems like a pretty cool website for some pretty sweet deals - THANK YOU GINGER!! :)

Rite Aid Gift of Savings

Okay guys - Want you to be aware that Rite Aid is running their GIft of Savings promo again this year.

• Spend between $25 and $50 and receive a $5.00 Gift of Savings Certificate
• Spend between $50.01 and $100 and receive a $10.00 Gift of Savings Certificate
• Spend $100.01 or more and receive a $20.00 Gift of Savings Certificate

Psst the totals are BEFORE coupons ;) I feel fairly confident in saying that this will exclude alcohol, tobacco and prescriptions... The Blog is STILL crazy so if you are wanting to comment send me an email and i'll tack your comment onto this one ;) if you want! or join the fan site on facebook and you can comment to me there and ask me questions :)

Want a Free dinner or lunch at Longhorn? I do!

Hey.I recently signed up to become one of the fabled "secret shoppers" (aka mystery shoppers.) I haven't done my first shop yet but I am going to do my first one soon. I got the attached email tonight. apparently Focus on Service which is the company who handles this for Longhorn is in need of people in our area. I don't know how far away from mount juliet they consider "Our area"

Signing up is totally free. All you do is go to the website (www.focusonservice.com) and sign up to be a secret shopper. I think I had to take a quiz and read some information first but once you are "Selected" which happens pretty much instantly - you can look at the shops that are available (A shop is a visit to the restaurant) Lunch you are usually required to buy an entree and a beverage and dinner you are usually required to buy appetizer, entree, beverage and dessert or coffee.

It's at least worth a look I think. They need people to evaluate their service and you need to eat.... ;)

I know it is legitimate because it is something a girl I know does.

I hope someone gets some use out of this :) I see it as a delicious way to save money.

Hello

I am in need of new shoppers in your area for Longhorn Steakhouse to participate in our secret shopper program. As you know as an existing shopper you can only shop a couple of times per year at Longhorn's request, and the reason is Longhorn likes a variety of opinions and feedback.

Please tell your friends and workmates about our program and ask them to sign up and fill out their profile, and then they can go on out to the job board and request shops in the area. The site is http://www.focusonservice.com/

I would appreciate your assistance and feel free to email this to your email pals as well

Thanks in advance for your help

Janice
