$4.98 + Tax DUE Out of Pocket
Get back $3.00 RR

Transaction 2:
$11.00 (Buy 3 Pepsi 12 packs)
-$3.00 RR from Transaction 1
$8.00 + Tax Due Out of Pocket

Get back $3.00 RR

Transaction 3:$9.98 (Buy 2 Children's Tylenol Sinus for $4.99 each)
-$5.00/2 Tylenol Sinus from 4-11 RP
-$3.00 RR from Transaction 2
$1.98 + Tax DUE Out of Pocket

Get back $3.00 RR
You'll have paid $14.96 PLUS TAX out of pocket and have 3 12 packs of soda and 4 bottles of childrens Tylenol.  Still a High OOP cost but it's not as bad as it could be if you need the Childrens Tylenol.
