So i have had some requests to show how well I am doing under budget or whatever. It really helps to see what someone bought in a real scenario. I know :)

Last week I shopped at Publix only. Here was my breakdown from my receipt:

According to my receipt though:

$10.55 was my total F/S paid and I paid $1.43 out of pocket.

The savings portion of my receipt says:

Store coupon - $17.40

MFG Coupon - $6.50
Special Price - $24.40

I separated my order with another order because I had another $5/$30 coupon to use BUT I forgot to use it :(

$33.55 was my total afterwards....

I did several things WRONG with this order...

1 - I forgot my $5.00 / $30 coupon!

2 - I completed the order. I had intended to use 4 knox coupons and buy 4 packages of knox gelatin

Which would have made my total $42.11

I cost myself $15.44!!!!!!

The Publix closest to me is hit or miss when it comes to cashiers & management. SOME of those folks are awesome and some are soooo not. Can you guess which variety I had this day? :) If I were smart I would have just stopped and had them keep everything in the second order and gone to the other publix or just waited a day.
