Swagbucks : Gearing up for Christmas

I know this is going to seem silly but when you search the web how do you search? I will admit that I am a total google-girl. I LOVE to use google because it always seems to be the very best option for searching. Now....at the beginning of the summer I started using swagbucks. I didn't really notice a difference in my search results because Swagbucks is powered by ask.com and google.com!!! :)

What is Swagbucks? Well...it is a search engine that awards you with Swagbucks for using their search engine.

What are Swagbucks? They are points that you win that you can use to buy prizes from the store at Swagbucks.com.

I'm sure it's a scam. No! It is not a scam. I have actually won enough points to buy multiple Amazon.com gift cards (it takes 45 swagbucks to buy 1 $5.00 giftcard) I plan to use my gift cards to help take the sting out of Christmas this year and my kids birthdays as well. (The girl's is coming up in October and the boy's is in March)

One cool thing is that right now they have a new searchbar that you can download and each day there is a new swagcode available for you to use to get a new swagbuck each day so even if you don't search at all you could get 28 more swagbucks this month and be over halfway there towards getting your own 5.00 amazon.com gift card. AND....if you invite your friends you get a portion of the swagbucks that they earn! (for instance: My cousin Candy is my "Swagbucks Friend" and when she wins 1 swagbuck the company awards 2, they award one to her and one to me. Pretty cool - huh? I know people who have won HUNDREDS of dollars worth of amazon.com gift cards. (they also have amazon.ca giftcards if you are canadian!!)

They have other ways you can win swagbucks as well - if you want to turn in old cell phones and things like that they will pay for the shipping for you to mail your old cell phone in and then award you with swagbucks!! Don't need extra cash for Christmas? That's fine! You can also spend 15 swagbucks and have them plant a tree in your name somewhere. How Green can you get?! That is AWESOME!!!
